Horse Remedy in Horsyklop's autumn favourites

Discover how our wellness programs can help your horses stay in top shape this fall with the testimony from Horsyklop!

Hey! Autumn is definitely here, and when it's not raining buckets, I actually start enjoying this season—when the sun gently kisses the reddening leaves in my beautiful valley. But autumn is also a pivotal season for our flying ponies.

Fall: the season for wellness programs for the Flying Pony

In my opinion, autumn is the seasonal change that puts the most stress on our horses. I always start with probiotics, using ProbioGuts. ProbioGuts contains effective microorganisms (microscopic living organisms) whose virtues I've already praised here, here, and there.

This little regimen helps to:

  • Give a little immunity boost to my chubby guy. This is what helped him regain Olympic shape last year after he had lost a lot of weight.
  • Support digestion and maintain gut flora balance.
  • Improve coat and hoof quality.
  • Promote mental balance in the horse.

I really like this cure. It provides just the right amount of balance that helps Pompon des prés regain his energy. Even though, I must admit, he has indulged a bit in recent months!

Stimulating Pompon's blood circulation

After this digestive protocol, I start a course to stimulate blood circulation. Always under the guidance of Horse Remedy, I supplemented Tinka’s diet with red vine. He tends to get “fat legs” whenever it’s over 15°C or when there are sudden weather changes. Age is catching up, and I need to be vigilant with his system. I must admit, I tried it out of curiosity, thinking it couldn’t hurt. I wanted something natural to support his daily diet.

To my surprise, he seemed to enjoy the red vine, eating it directly from his feeder without any tricks. For Tinka’s, who’s always suspicious of new things, that’s a big win! Then, I observed that on warm days, his tendons remained in good shape—proof that “everything is circulating well.” I’m fully satisfied with this treatment.

I did a 2-week course, followed by a break, and I’ll see if another round is needed. The goal is to support the body without making it dependent.
