Activated Charcoal Horse Remedy is made from ash wood, poplar, or coconut shell. Its production involves two carbonization steps:
This second process transforms the raw material into a network of micropores. Each particle becomes a true micro-sponge capable of adsorbing (not absorbing) poisons, toxins, gases, and unwanted molecules.
Unlike many medicinal plants, activated charcoal contains no active ingredients: its effectiveness comes solely from its porous structure.
Numerous scientific studies (see: PubMed, Poison Control Centers) confirm the usefulness of activated charcoal for digestive health and detoxification.
In horses, it can be used as occasional support in cases of digestive disorders or poisoning.
